We're really happy with the way Copa has adjusted to having a new baby around the house. We weren't really sure how she would handle it since she has been our "baby" since we brought her home two years ago. We have spoiled the crap out of her! One of the major things we have changed is where Copa sleeps. We used to let her sleep in bed with us, but now that Kaylin is here (and sleeping with us), that just didn't feel safe anymore. We felt really bad giving Copa the boot, but of course the safety of our sweet baby girl comes first. Copa has a bed on the floor of our room, and we assumed she'd sleep there - but she has been sleeping on the bed in the guest room! Ha! Whenever Kaylin wakes up during the night, Copa comes in to check on her and then goes back to the guest room. It's really sweet. I hope Kaylin & Copa will be great friends!
