I can't believe Kaylin is already 6 weeks old! It's amazing how much she's grown and changed in just six weeks. It's also amazing how much Billy and I have learned in that time! (how to give a bath, that she likes to be swaddled, how to quicky change a diaper, what her different cries mean, etc.)Unfortunately, my maternity leave is over and I'll be back to work tomorrow. I'm having a really hard time thinking about being away from my sweet baby girl for that long, but I'm trying to look on the bright side - at least we'll be in the same building and I can nurse during lunch and sneak in for hugs and kisses every once in a while. And, of course, if there's an emergency I'll be right there. Since Billy is off on Fridays, Kaylin will be staying home with him on those days. I'm sure he's looking forward to spending some time with his daughter without Mommy hogging her! ;)
